THE PUBLIC READY PROCESS
Temporary Traffic Control is a compliance process that starts before field work begins. Public Ready focuses on the upstream work that prepares the project for the next stage.
THE FULL TTC PROCESS
Public Ready focuses on phases 1–3. General work-zone implementation and closeout remain with the appropriate execution and responsible parties. Public Ready supplies and posts Temporary No Parking signs when required, including when the governing city or agency does not post them. Public Ready removes only the signs Public Ready posted. Posting follows applicable agency requirements and the agreed project scope.
Scope, location, schedule, equipment, constraints, and existing direction.
Traffic Control Plans and supporting exhibits prepared around the actual project.
Authorized submittals, questions, comments, revisions, and conditions.
Field setup and traffic-control execution by the appropriate licensed execution provider under approved requirements.
Removal and project documentation as required by the responsible parties.
HOW PUBLIC READY WORKS
Share the work description, equipment, location, proposed dates, and what you need help with. Include what you know; identify what still needs clarification.
Confirm the road or public-space owner and the relevant reviewing agencies. The mailing address is a starting point, not a substitute for jurisdiction review.
Prepare the agreed traffic control plans, layouts, permit materials, and supporting information around the project’s actual footprint and access needs.
Coordinate the authorized submissions, questions, comments, and revisions. Agency review and approval remain with the responsible public agency.
Bring issued documents, conditions, and unresolved items into a clear handoff so the appropriate downstream provider can execute the approved requirements.
